Game Guide

Gameplay Introduction

Dealing: A deck of 54 cards is used. Each player receives 17 cards, and 3 cards are left as the bottom cards. Players cannot see the bottom cards before the landlord is determined.

Bidding: Bidding proceeds in turn according to the order of play. When bidding, players can choose to "call the landlord" or "pass". If a player chooses to "call the landlord", the bidding ends immediately and that player becomes the landlord. If no one "passes", the cards are redealt and bidding restarts until someone "calls the landlord".

Farmer's skills

1. If you have a chance to get rid of your cards, it's best to play a straight first. If your chance of getting rid of your cards is very slim, then don't play a straight. In the end, you might be able to beat the landlord's straight and thus pose a threat to him.

2. The player to the left of the landlord must try every means to play their cards.

3. The player to the left of the landlord should learn to play the highest card.

Let's do a simple analysis:

(1) If the landlord plays a single card first, the player before the landlord will play an Ace as the first card to top the hand. This Ace is considered the most classic top card, immediately revealing the high-ranking cards in the hands of the three players;

(2) If the landlord plays a pair first, the player before the landlord should try to play a middle pair, such as a pair of 10 and J (and then return a single card). This will immediately bring out the landlord's big pairs and the strength of the pairs.

(3) The landlord cannot play a pair before the pair of 2 is broken;

(4) The king of the idler usually does not need to beat the king of the landlord;

4. The player before the landlord does not play a card, and the player after the landlord does not play a card.

5. Learn to play cards in reverse. If the landlord plays a single card first, the peasants should play a pair after taking their turn. If the landlord plays a pair first, the peasants should play a single card after taking their turn. In other words, play the card that puts the landlord in a difficult position.

6. The landlord's three hidden cards are the fox's tail. By noting how these cards appear, you can guess the landlord's strategy.

Landlord

1. After a player calls for the landlord position, each player has one and only one chance to "bid for the landlord" in turn. If no other player bids for the landlord position after a player bids, the landlord position belongs to the player who bid for the landlord position.

2. If no player chooses to "claim the landlord" (bid for the landlord position), the landlord rights belong to the player who "called the landlord".

3. Each time you "grab the landlord", the game multiplier is doubled.

4. Players who have previously opted out of the "not calling for the landlord" option are unable to opt out of the "grabbing the landlord" option.

double

1. After the landlord is chosen, a doubling option is added before the landlord plays their cards. After the landlord takes the bottom cards, the doubling option appears, allowing players to choose to double or not. However, to double, players must meet specific conditions.

2. After completing the doubling or non-doubling action within the time limit, you must wait for other players to complete their actions or until the time limit expires before the landlord starts playing cards.

3. After doubling, the game score is calculated as follows: multiplier * corresponding Happy Beans per point * your own multiplier * your opponent's multiplier. If there is a multiplier, multiply by 2; otherwise, multiply by 1.

Landlord Skills

1. After the cards are dealt, you should check what cards you are missing in your hand. This is something you must remember. When playing cards, start with small cards. Generally, don't play small straights or 3-1 combinations first, as this can easily give the cards to the peasants and cause you to lose the right to play.

2. If the landlord has a scattered hand with many high-value cards, then wait for the peasants to play. Then take the lead. There's no need for you to immediately take the lead when the peasants play, because taking the lead will only help the peasants. If you really have no cards, intentionally let the player to your left (never let the player to your right play) play. Letting the player to your left can reduce the number of bombs you lose.

3. When the landlord has an exceptionally strong hand, they should deliberately feign weakness to lure out the farmers' bombs (four-of-a-kind). While doing so, the landlord should maintain absolute control of the game. Cards that the landlord is absolutely certain of winning can be played openly. Ideally, the openly played cards should allow the landlord to play any hand type, or each card played should force out a bomb.

4. It's not recommended to discard the King unless you're certain the peasants have no more bombs. Otherwise, discarding the King will result in severe damage (keeping it in your hand serves as a deterrent to the peasants). Use the three-of-a-kind to determine the strength of your straight. For example, if the peasants play 3KKK with a single card, then your 910JQK is obviously stronger. Learn to apply these principles!
