Dealing cards
A deck of cards has 54 cards. Each player receives 17 cards, and 3 cards are left as the bottom cards. Players cannot see the bottom cards before the landlord is determined. After the landlord is determined, the bottom cards are revealed.

The first player to bid
One landlord card is flipped over, and whoever gets that card becomes the landlord. On the online gaming platform, the player who bids in the first round is selected by the system.
Bidding
Bidding proceeds in turn according to the order of play, with each player allowed only one bid. Bids can be "1 point," "2 points," "3 points," or "pass." Subsequent bidders can only bid higher than the previous player or pass. Playing cards
The three bottom cards are given to the landlord and revealed to everyone. The landlord plays first, and then players take turns playing in a counter-clockwise direction. When it's a player's turn, they can choose to pass or play a card higher than the previous player's. The game ends when one player runs out of cards.
