1. Reveal your cards quickly. The standard for a dealer's hand isn't how good it is, but whether it's playable. (If your suit is longer, you should keep the Ace.) In this case, don't always play the Ace of the empty suit first, then the other; you should switch the order appropriately. 2. When you want your partner to take the lead, don't always stick to playing small trumps. For example, if you play a 3, and you play a small trump in the leading suit, the next player plays a 3 in a side suit, and your partner doesn't play it. If you want to take the lead again and still want your partner to take the lead, you should change your approach, either by playing a small pair in a side suit or by playing a single card in a side suit. IV. Card Control. If you lose points with your bottom cards, you must control your cards, meaning don't play all your high cards. When you play your high cards, your opponents are playing useless cards. If you play all your high cards, they'll be left with some "elite" cards, making it easy to lose your bottom cards. Moreover, opponents usually try to take the bottom cards in pairs, resulting in even greater losses. For example, if you have a side suit of AKKQQ, you can hold off on playing it initially, or even play smaller cards first, forcing your partner to play their larger cards (generally, regardless of the hand, your partner will play larger cards in side suits). This is especially effective when your trump cards aren't strong. The attacking side will definitely try to exhaust your trump cards, and your only way to protect your bottom cards is with side suits: as long as everyone still has that side suit, you still have a good chance of holding onto your bottom cards.
If you have AA in one suit, you usually don't play it first, unless you have very few in that suit and your partner might have a run of cards like a tractor. Also, if you and your partner are good at cooperating and your partner always plays a high card, if you play a single low card, the next player will probably not dare to play even if they have a K, because they don't have an A. At this point, if your partner plays a K, they will have the lead.
Fifth, it's possible to hold back a non-trump card (Ace), especially in games without trump. In no-trump, there usually aren't many trump cards to beat non-trump cards.
